The Scottish Fold / Scottish Kilt is a breed of domestic cat that has a natural gene mutation that affects the cartilage of the body. This is what causes the ears to bend or fold forward and down towards the front of the head. Ultimately that is what gives the cat an “owl-like” appearance.
The Scottish Fold / Scottish Kilt is a sweet and charming breed. They are an easy cat to live with and also easy to care for. They are affectionate, and like to snuggle with all members of the family.
